• Have their basic needs supplied and/or offset      

• Reduce payment on debts or major critical expenses (such as credit-card debt, medical bills, car repairs)

• Reduce financial stress by helping to offset monthly expenses

• Develop an emergency savings fund

• Improve the quality of life and relationships of individuals and families

WHO WE SERVE:

Hope Station helps individuals and families in the community who are working, yet struggling financially. They make too much to receive government assistance, but yet not enough to pay all their bills.

HOW WILL PEOPLE BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE SERVICES?

1. By filling out an application

Prospective participants will be screened to determine their eligibility. Please note that services will not be available to walk-ins or persons receiving government assistance.

2. By paying a monthly participation fee

The $25 fee is minimal, yet necessary, for providing a sense of ownership - while helping to pay for a portion of the organization’s expenses.

3. By volunteering

All participants in the program are required to volunteer two hours per month to the program.  

Volunteer hours help keep expenses down and the program running efficiently, while creating a sense of responsibility in the participants. 

It is our belief that paying a small fee and volunteering a little time, gives dignity. It’s a “Hand-Up” rather than a “Hand-Out” program.
